No, on the demo page icons are visible properly. To update grapesjs I removed the old version by using npm remove grapesjs and then npm install grapesjs to get the latest version. I also tried deleting grapesjs folder from node_modules and then used npm install grapesjs but no luck still icons are not rendered. Used npm install grapesjs@latest as well but the same result. Going back to version 0.19.4 fixes this issue.

Thanks for reporting this, @FaisalShaikhHA.

Great question about After upgrading from 0.19.4 to latest version 0.20.1, icons under layer manager not visible.. The recommended approach with GrapesJS is to use the event-driven API.

Start here:

  1. Check the GrapesJS documentation for your specific module
  2. Look for the on() event listener method
  3. Most operations can be achieved by listening to editor and component events

Common patterns:

// Listen for changes
editor.on('change', () => console.log('something changed'));

// Component lifecycle
editor.on('component:mount', (c) => console.log('component ready', c));
editor.on('component:update', (c) => console.log('component updated', c));

If you're still stuck:

  • Share a minimal CodeSandbox reproduction
  • Include what you've already tried
  • Mention your GrapesJS version
