We’ve rolled out a new set of GrapesJS marketplace updates across GJS Market, focused on improving how creators distribute products, how buyers discover them, and how the platform tracks real usage.

This release introduces improved donation support, external GitHub download tracking, better product sorting, and several stability fixes across the marketplace. Some visibility changes were also implemented to make product statistics more meaningful for active users while reducing unnecessary noise for casual visitors.

The goal of these changes is simple: make GJS Market more transparent, easier to use, and more reliable for both creators and buyers. Below is a detailed look at what’s new and how these updates affect your workflow.

What’s New

Donation Improvements

Donation support has been expanded to provide a smoother experience for both users who want to support creators and admins managing the platform.

Launch donation flow

The donation experience is now clearer and more predictable. When users choose to support a creator:
  • The donation interface is simplified
  • Payment intent and confirmation steps are clearer
  • Donation details are presented in a more structured format
This makes it easier for users to understand what they’re contributing and ensures fewer interruptions during the donation process.

Reviews and Questions&Answers for product

If you purchase a paid product, you can submit a review and share your experience with other users. For free products, reviews become available after making a donation to support the creator. You can also ask questions about any product, and the author will respond to help you.

Labels for products

New system of labels:
  • Top Sales #1 - Number 1 in the Rating in Selling
  • Top Downloads #1 - Number 1 in the Rating in Downloads
  • Best Seller - Product has more then 10 sells
  • New - The new products on website
  • Recent Sell - Recent was sold
  • Popular - Popular by sells, downloads, ratings and etc
  • Official - Offcicial plugin from GrapesJS
  • Studio - Plugins support the GrapesJS Studio

External GitHub Download Tracking

One of the most requested improvements from creators was better visibility into real product usage. Previously, download counters only reflected downloads performed directly inside GJS Market.
However, many creators host plugins and templates on GitHub, meaning downloads happening there were not reflected in marketplace statistics.
That changes with this update.

Stability and Bug Fixes

In addition to new features, this release includes several improvements to overall platform stability.
Several runtime issues affecting the donation details page have been resolved. These fixes improve:
  • Page loading reliability
  • Rendering consistency
  • Error handling during payment-related interactions
  • Review system for products
  • Question&Answer system for products
  • Emails letters

Who Benefits

These improvements affect different groups across the GJS Market ecosystem.

Buyers benefit from:
  • More reliable product rankings
