Double-clicking text in GrapesJS opens a deliberately minimal editor: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and a link. Anything beyond that has to be added. These plugins take both routes — replacing the RTE entirely with CKEditor 5 (opened in a modal so the canvas stays usable) or Quill, or keeping the native one and extending its toolbar with headings, lists, alignment and colour. The replacement route gives users a familiar word-processor experience; the extension route keeps the bundle small.
